Avebury
Okey dokey. This was from our first field trip. We headed to Avebury, which is a rather large ring of standing stones. Its pretty nifty.
Here we have Dena, Lisa, Krista and Angie. Tresa is the one sitting down. They are right in front of one of the larger of the Avebury stones.
Now the entire ring is surrounded by this gigantic ditch like structure. Its pretty large, as is evidenced by this picture. I am standing on top of the outer pile of dirt, and that is someone standing at the bottom. His name is John.
This is another one of the Avebury rocks. Its about a yard taller than I am.
This is about 1/2 the ring of Avebury. Now, onto Stonehenge! With druids and Spinal tap playing! Naw, I was lying about the last part..... Onward!
