Ireland, Killarney

Killarney was absolutely gorgeous.  Beautiful place.  We drove there from Cork, and then we had our picnic lunch.

That's Jackie, Jason, Nikky, Erin and Trevor.  Eatin' some sandwiches.

After lunch, we went on a carraige ride down to Torc Mountain.

This is a stream down from the waterfalls a bit.  Very pretty.

This is the waterfall on Torc Mountain.

This is me WITH the waterfall on Torc mountain.

This is Erin, Jason and Trevor with their driver.

This is Me, Jackie and Nikky with our driver.

Then we were off for more driving around the park.

This spot is just a little bit up the road from Ladies' View.

This is Ladies' View.  So called because Queen Victoria's Ladies in waiting loved the view from here.

This is us in front of Ladies View.  Trevor, Erin, Me, Jackie and Nikky, with Jason in front.

Getting out of Killarney National Park was easier than it sounded.  We decided to explore. In our quest to escape, we had run ins with Cows, Sheep, and one peculiar Donkey. And then there was the Dunloe Gap.

That road was even more narrow than the roads in Cork.  One lane, no edges.  And horses, carraiges, people and other cars we encountered on the way down it.  If Trevor had been drinking that night, he would have drunk for free.

After our flight from Killarney we headed towards the Cliffs of Moher.
