Astronomers have detected a monster star out yonder in space. At first I was totally excited. Perhaps King Ghidora would be attacking soon and live out the epic battles with Godzilla! Or perhaps the star was shaped like Frankenstein, or had issues with lycanthropy like the Wolfman!

But nooooooo. As usual, science lets the imagination down.

Apparently it’s just a gigantic (even more gigantic than usual) burning ball of gas.
