using the netbook. I was dialed in to the conference line using skype (already having those headsets instead of using my cell phone has made the $30 worth it for a year of unlimited phone calls), plus firefox up and running, with MS word and powerpoint going too.

The smaller screen is not even a problem, I’m almost 90% used to doing things on it. Now the key is to make sure I don’t use the desktop computer for teaching stuff…that way I’ve got it fixed in my mind and won’t feel a lack of space.

So far so good, though.
