hilariously

the arcade boondoggle? That first replacement board that I was going to get last time? Yeahhhh….funny thing about that is that I would have paid $36.00 for it. Then I was told it wasn’t working. He relisted it 2 days later and sold it for $60.

I guess there are idiots out there. But that game would not have been worth $60, it was X-Men vs. Street Fighter, a game that I was in no ways against, but just not 100% enthused about. Instead, I got Super Street Figher 2 (my first street fighter game on the snes) for the arcade machine for $26, rather than $36. And it’s a game that I really enjoyed playing back in the day.

I came out ahead due to the greed of unscrupulous sellers.

I am teh win.

too many cars

That’s what I was told by a real estate agent today. An affordable, good matching house, for what all 5 of us could agree on…not unreasonable with security or pet deposit, but then told no.

Because the owner doesn’t want more than 3 cars. Doesn’t want to cause trouble with the neighbors. 3 cars can fit in the driveway, only two would have to go on the street.

Basically it’s boiling down to the fact that no real estate agent wants to rent out to 5 guys. I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but I wish one of these places we’re looking at was handled by a prop management company. At least they’re used to these kind of questions and situations and don’t immediately become jerkish about them…they may become jerkish later, but that I can deal with. Dealing with a jerk right off the bat from hello is getting a tad tiring.

And I honestly don’t think it’s good form to hide the amount of people going to be renting out from the get go…because then it’ll just be refused down the road after arrangements have been made. Honesty is the best policy for avoiding situations such as that.

Oh well, something’ll come up…or it won’t. I’m pretty well off one way or ‘t other.
