ever noticed that regardless of what culture is represented, (chinese, european, african) in video games the accents are ALWAYS BRITISH.
Jade Empire, Chinese/Asian situation…English accents.
Prince of PERSIA, persian/indian…English Accents.
Legacy of Kain…COMPLETELY MADE UP VAMPIRE CULTURE….English Accents.
and finally, Viking…scandinivian. English accents.
C’mon. WTF folks.
oh dear, oh dear.
The elements for a fantastic video game are RAMPANT in viking mythology. rampant. We’re not talking huge adjustments here, you could basically take any story in the elder edda and you’d have the rudiments of a brilliant video game plot right there. Puzzle solving, Action, you name it, it could be done.
Which brings me to this game called Viking.
I haven’t played it yet, but I read through the instruction booklet. I’m uncertain if my expectations could be any lower.
