back in the day
I was totally a fan of netscape navigator. It had more features, it worked with more sites, and it was a better all around browser than IE. Back in the day.
Now its being shut down as of February 1st.
I’m not too sad about that. It has, quite illogically, become a tottering behemoth of spam, redudancy, and irritations that have no place in the browsers of today. IE is close to that, but they just toe the line (as they’ve been doing for ages). The browser for me nowadays is firefox (of course) because you can choose how crappy you want it to be (yes, most add ons made for it are crappy, you cannot deny this, no matter how much you try), or how completely awesome you want it to be.
K. I’m done now…it makes me recall the days when webcrawler was evident search engine king…the good ol’ days.
