tasered

again, a student got tasered. This is reminiscent of the incident last November, albeit with less tasering.

My sympathies for the student are non existent, in both cases. Tasering was too harsh, sure.

But if you’re going to be a prick about having your time go over and being asked to step away from the mic, and then start resisting FOUR armed police officers, why should I feel sorry for someone when the instance reaches its logical conclusion?

There’s a time and place for resisting authority, folks, and at a forum where you’re in a bad mood because your mic got cut is not one of them.

People are writing this student a blank check because of what the police did. I refuse to. If he had used some common sense (and acted like a civilized human being) then there wouldn’t have been a need for ANY police action.

Just because you think police actions are brutal doesn’t mean you should COMPLETELY OVERLOOK the uncivilized behavior of the public.
