Let me explain something about this computer. It has a fan in it that will run at different times, and there’s no way I can control it. It’s not temperature related, it’s not processor related (any longer…it used to be and sometimes is) and I can’t get it to stop running occasionally. it’d be different if it were running all the time, but it doesn’t. Instead, it runs seemingly randomly and for no reason.

small matter, right? the problem is that it sounds like an airliner taking off, it’s really loud. And I can’t shut it off, it used to be that I could shut down enough processes that it wouldn’t happen, but it’s no longer working.

thank goodness we’re only 3 days away from the end of class. One guy already told me that “it’s might be time to go back to pen and paper”, and I wish I could have told him to f off, but he’s right. it’s loud and it’s annoying. I tried moving back as far as I could, so hopefully that’ll help. we’ll see.

time for a new computer.
