acer is gonna buy ‘em…wow, I knew gateway’s company had reached new lows in customer service, quality of hardware, and price gouging on computers, but so low that Acer bought them?

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

so very sore.

actually, less sore than I was a month ago when I played softball, but still sore.

is there a traditional term for the word “fairgoer”, ie. some who goes to fairs? Something more old-timey and/or british?

For the life of me, I thought there was one, but I can’t think of it.

I’m unofficially ABD. It won’t be official until I get back the transcript from the registrar’s office, but it feels damned good anyway to have the final paper for classes sent away.

now for that dissertation…
