what’s nice to see is how he’s capable of bringing peace to the table by getting two opposite factions to agree in their displeasure with the catholics: the muslims and the protestant christains.
Sorry pope, I don’t recognize you as the sole voice of God, or the catholic church as the only “true” church.

If you look at the history of the Papacy… the intrigue, harassments, murders, political maneuvering,sexual exploitation, etc. you wonder how in the world today’s Catholics can look the world in the face!
Maybe it’s because all their services were in Latin for so many years and they didn’t know what in the world their priests were even saying!

This pope is nuts. He’s undoing all the good things that Pope John Paul II had done, such as ditch latin masses (preaching to the people in the language they speak is important), and now talking smack to protestants.
We catholics are supposed to be the self hating, turn the other cheekers of christianity. Pope palpatine’s power trip is killing the turn around of the largest religion in the world from the screw ups of the medieval papacy.
Sharon – we can look the world in the face because all of that was mostly in the middle ages. The modern protestant church is full of political maneuvering (Jerry Falwell), sex scandals (Jimmy Swaggart), theft (Jim Baker). I don’t blame the religion on it, I blame the individuals leading the organization.
