feels good

to be done. While I may not have the patience to tutor very often, I may have to again in the fall to make ends meet. If that does happen, I guarantee it will be only in math. it’s so much easier to tutor one subject where there is ONLY one answer.

plus whomever makes up the tests for english must be less than intelligent.

Anyways, I’m sipping a beer, going to have some soup, and play some games.

Feels good to be done.

Finally, a funny Dick Tracy.

It’s funnier if you read that last word bubble with a period before his name, rather than a comma.

a long weekend

precursor to a busy week, wrapping up tutoring, having the orientation for teaching next fall, getting everything caught up for class next mon-wed.

uff da.

other than that, I picked my mother up at LAX on Saturday, dropped her off at my brother’s house on Sunday, and today did nothing but play world of warcraft with kamran.

got caught up a little on reading today outside of that as well. good times.

uff da, what an uninspiring post.

Islam Paper back

much to my surprise, rather than ripping it apart because it examined drinking in the islamic world, he was quite appreciative of my approach. Plus I got an A! w00t!

t-3 more papers…one of which is the first chapter of the diss.

Good times, good times.

A new IT Guy

Mr. T puts the “t” in IT.

It’s priceless, at least the last 30 seconds. He’s speaking the words, but I don’t think he knows what they mean.

what the deuce hit me

I honestly feel like I”ve been hit by either a golf cart or a cooper mini…something that hits, but doesn’t kill.

I’d say a MAC truck, but c’mon. you get hit with one of those, you’re pretty much incapacitated.

I don’t know if it was something I ate, if I”m low on sleep, or what…but I am not feeling well, not since 5AM this morning.

I blame the mushrooms rice and olive concoction I had for supper. though it tasted really good.

ugh. remind me not to think about food.

Virus Protection

I need a new program, one that won’t slow my computer way down, and then not work half the time.

Yeah, that’s right, Norton’s Anti-Virus is a resource hog, and I’m sick of it.

Lloyd Alexander

Died. ON THURSDAY. Thanks to the webcomics I read, I finally found out about it today. Stupid CNN reporting all their worthless news, they miss this.

Lloyd Alexander was undoubtedly my favorite author as a kid, and remains one of my favorites today. Even though the books are written for children, they are a really good read.

This bums me out, man.

So I’m brewing some English Pale Ale tonight, and some mead.

Good times.

new pens

Look, I needed them. I had to get ‘em, my one pen that I had from BSU was dying.

$13.99 for 12 pens. But they’re the G2 Gel Ink Pilot pens. Perhaps the best “mass produced” pens in existence.

They’re totally sweet. totally. And I needed them.

I mean, tutoring has used up my entire supply of extra pens laying around the house. Albeit, most of these pens were on the low end of ink (but they still wrote!), but they died in service.

Now I’ve got new pens…good pens…

Yeah, um. Anyway.
