first semester of grad school: The weekend before papers were due on Thursday- none out of three of the papers written, two books gathered for research.

this semester of grad school: 1.5 out of two papers written, all sources gathered and prepared to finish up.

Apparently I’ve learned something throughout these travails, I just wish I knew what it was!

I’ve noticed

that papers are easier to write when
A) You actually care about what you’re writing

and

B) You know what you’re talking about.
