Ok, the graphics card had been dying for the last 3 or 4 months, since I moved out to california. Actually, probably since I sent it in to be fixed back in June.
Anyway, today, i couldn’t get anything done. The card displayed nothing but scrambled images, and most of the time just black. It froze up the computer when this happens. I barely got a disc burned with important info on it.
So I sent it in today, overnight via fedex. Spendy, yes. But I need that comp for school and work, so I don’t really have a choice. I’ll hopefully have it back by Monday, but we’ll see.
And once again, the $179 I paid a year and a half ago for extended warranty pays off.
