uff.

ass? Handed to me.

Well, not LITERALLY handed to me. And in all actuality I did pretty decent on the GRE considering two things: I took it in one hour, and it was right after I finished with 2.5 hours on the SAT. THAT BEING SAID: I fell short of the 90th percentile by maybe about 6 or 7%.

As for the SAT, they need to grade it yet and will be calling me tomorrow.

(*%&$’n standardized tests. I think I knew something was up when I was reading through the preparation manual for employment this afternoon: “Remember, the people who make these tests are not mean. In fact, they’re our friends. You shouldn’t say anything bad about them. Ever.”

Yeah. So I don’t know if I’ll be working for Kaplan. We’ll see what they say tomorrow when they call me back. *shrug* and y’know, if it’s a no go? I’m good with that. Driving 40 miles each way to work, for a part time job such as that would have been, is a tad bit eXtreme. That would have translated to the first hour of work going to pay for gas. We’ll have to see.

Maaaaan….I wish that mead was ready.

3PM

that’s the time when I go in to take the SAT practice test at Kaplan.

Surprisingly, I’m much more nervous about this test and the GRE on thursday than I ever was about the standardized tests back in High School.

Maybe it’s because this time, I need it to pay bills? Who knows.
