why do you have to be so annoying all the time?

40 down to Woodland Hills to visit the homebrew shop there…and wow, is it a homebrew shop. Everything you could ever hope for(including specific yeast for mead! I passed on that at the moment though)…I picked up a bottle capper, another bucket, so that I can have two batches going at once, or so I can have one for longer aging things(like Mead), and a bunch of bottle caps and yeast. Hooray!

Then I drove another 35 miles roundabouts ways to get to a honey farm. They’ve got quite the variety of honey there from cactus to sage to avocado. I picked up 24 lbs of the wildflower because that’s the darkest they had in the 12 lb containers. I wanted to get some avacado, but they didn’t have any. I’ll email them next time I need it so they’ll have some packaged for me.

Good freakin’ times.

For the last two weeks you’ve said you had a bottle capper on order, and you said that it’d be here.

I checked last weekend, and you said it’d be in. I checked just today, “by wednesday or thursday for sure”.

Sorry, I can’t do that. Looks like I’ll have to drive about half an hour to get to a more reliable homebrew shop.

Which is just as well, this other shop will probably have the yeast I’m looking for in order to make mead. And then I’ve got to drive down and get some honey from a farm over the east. Good times.
