Roommate, or no roommate?
it all depends, I suppose.
It seems that I am losing the roommate I’ve got now as of September sometime. He’s got some teaching or somesuch to do out in Park Rapids, leaving me with two open rooms.
This leaves me, for the first time, with some options:
I can move out, preferably into someplace that’s cheaper to live in…unfortunately that means moving all my stuff and dealing with other landlords. My parents are remarkably good landlords, and I don’t necessarily want to move somewhere else in Bemidji right now, unless I could get something like an entire floor in some house to myself.
Or I can find a job elsewhere and move somewhere else entirely. However, there is a problem with this option, as I just signed up for a full time job, and to be honest…it may be the first job in quite a long time that hasn’t sucked. So I’m not entirely certain right now whether or not I want to give it up. They’re even giving me time to go out to school.
Or the third option: I can stay here, find a roommate and keep on keeping on. And, as they say in the Big Lebowski, “abide”. The Froyd Abides. This is the biggest probable situation that’s going to happen. As well, I’m sure this option would work out for a current Master’s degree student who rented out the small room from me this last school year, and could do it again this year.
Although I do definitely need to find another roommate if I go with option three.
we’ll see. Right now I’ll worry about papers.
