killed

I killed my project blog about my senior project and the first 1/3 of my book. Since I’m going to look for publication, having that much of it out there on the internet(even before the mass revisions I’ve done) is probably a bad idea.

myspace

here’s the deal with myspace, and why I won’t ever move a blog there or blog there in the first place: it is so ridiculously slow that it isn’t funny.

Not to mention that it has become a spot for advertisers, not for the users. Everything myspace does is to give more space for eventual advertisers, and more money, and more money.

And it’s so ridiculously slow. It is for that reason that I will NOT link to any myspace blogs. I just won’t do it. I may read it occasionally, but never more than that. I don’t exactly enjoy reading on a slow server, and I find the designs particularly obnoxious.

Ok, I’m done now.

I really don’t like myspace very much.

So why do I have my own myspace profile? Connections, I suppose, because the unwashed masses I haven’t talked to since high school are slowly becoming knowledgeable about the internet. And I’m slowly attempting to show them that Myspace is a plague of capitalistic suck.

Rise up! Go to Facebook! Get your own page! Whatever works!

But no myspace. For God’s sake, no myspace.

it’s sooooo slow.
