printing requirements
with as many grad students as there are walkin’ the walk, and getting the diploma this year, I’m surprised more fights haven’t broken out around the printer.
the first time I’ve run into someone was tonight, when adam was printing out his thesis. But his is shorter than mine, and he was in the middle of it just before I began.
and trust me, if you’re printing of 4 copies of 227 pages a pop(don’t worry, I brought my own paper), you don’t want to either interrupt anyone wanting to use the printer, or have anyone screaming at you while your stuff is still printing out.
I also checked the price of the paper they want us to buy for one of the final copies….$25 for 500 sheets. And it’s gotta be bound in a spiral binder of some sort.
on the plus side, I finally slapped around MS word into accepting formatting for the thesis. good times.
