yes, it’s gotta be 200-300 pages of academic research based writing, yes, I’ve got to read a whole lot, yes I’ve got to be “logical”…

but you know what? There are no classes during that period. No working at the hospital. No classes at BSU. Possibly still will be teaching, but I can hack that.

man, all that time to concentrate on reading and writing one long peice. One year, 4 months to go until I can start.

So I called my mom to tell her I’ll be late for supper tonight, and she asked me what I’d gotten done. I said the comp is written and the edits on the thesis have been taken care of.

Her response?

“What thesis?’

I spent half an hour trying to get my thesis formatted correctly. I hate it so very very much. word, that is, not my thesis.

do not eat simply asia’s spicy kung pao noodle bowl.

I’ve never had a food which smelled exactly like the inside of a cattle barn until now.

and it’s an experience I hope not to repeat any time soon.

the afternoon is going to be dedicated to editing the 8 pages of comp and the academic side of the thesis.

for the last day of comp writing. on the docket today is also editing my thesis academic side.

those two things are getting done today, and then I’ve got to get to scheduling my thesis defense.
