technology
though I know how to control it and fix it, it is often the bane of my existence.
take today, for instance. The ethernet controller has been slouching its way towards bethlehem since last may. It got better though, until about a month ago, and then it started dying at least once a day requiring a reset.
I didn’t realize how bad it got until I got the new one home today. There is definite speed now. I can notice the difference. It’s totally sweet and awesome.
and then my other laptop is finally getting stuff reinstalled on it, so it should be ready to roll tomorrow.
this week, even with valentine’s day(may it be never have a restful moment(at least until I get me a valentine)) has been unusually productive.
