this whole cartoon

business, what with the flag burnings and the protests…

it leads me to wonder about these countries.

Do they just now realize what the vocal minority of arab states have been doing in response to America for all these years? Will they understand that some of these people are such complete zealots that there is no option for dealing with them?

Are the europeans afraid to protect their free speech? And have they realized that maybe, JUST MAYBE, the amount of anger directed towards the united states from this section of the world may not be 100% logical?

It’d be nice for the rest of the world to wake up, but I doubt they will.

Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones

finally completed the game. I got it about 6 or 7 months ago.

THis is the hardest Fire Emblem I’ve had to play. The first one wasn’t this bad, and the one that came out on the gamecube wasn’t near as difficult.

this one was tough. but I defeated it.

let it be a lesson for the enemies of the Froyd!!

slightly angry?

Yes, I’d say so.

You see, I just got around to buying the Eurospring book. Essays from my year make up 83 pages of it, roughly 1/5th of the book(total of 382 pages). Essays from my year which I collected, edited, added pictures for, and made presentable. Essays which would not have been collected had it not been for my badgering.

Essays which I put all that trouble into getting to Louise, and which she in exchange said she’d be happy to put my name on the book as an assistant editor for that year.

You’d think there’d be just a little bit of a “thank you” in the book. You’d think that contributors who WAITED FOR OVER TWO FUCKING YEARS TO GET THE BOOK DONE would at the very least get their copies for free. Nope. no name on the editor’s page, no free copies for the contributors.

Perhaps you don’t quite understand why I’m angry. I put a lot of effort into getting all of these essays collected and edited, and had them in to Louise in December of 2003. I had edited them, added pictures, and given them to her in december of that year. We’ve been told on and off that the book was coming out. I offered to do more and help with editing but Louise kept saying no, that’s all right. Finally in september of 2005(roughly 2 years after I had given her my group’s contributions) the book came out.

This entire experience has just made any dealings with mass commies impossible in the future. It has left a nasty taste in my mouth.

And then, when I got the book today, to see no mention of the work that I put into my group’s essays…even when there was mention of putting my name amongst the editors…none. not even a thanks.

I’m setting the record straight here and now, because it’ll be impossible to list my efforts on my resume now, other than as a contributor. There have been no changes between the essays I sent to her and how they appear in the book. I gave them the pictures I had collected to go with the essays. I MADE one fifth of this book.

but you’ll have to take my word for it.

goddamn it.
