*shudder*
i had heard the rumors and the ads about how the U-Bar was remodeled, and was trying to be more of a sports bar.
I went in there tonight to play trivia.
No matter how much paraphenalia they bring in, no matter how many tvs, the set up is still the same. And I’ve never felt so alone as I did when I went in there to play trivia with just a friend, while some guy sat at the bar staring at his cell phone and the bartender did nothing.
That place is not conducive in any way, shape, or form to anything the least bit intellectual.
And since I don’t have a girl to grind on me on the dance floor(and if I did, I’d probably prefer it in private), there’s no reason for me to go into the U-Bar.
That place is the satan.
