isn’t just a party anymore…it has become more a phenomenon, something that has grown out of the original plan into a platonic form of a party. You can’t fight the form. I tried, and nearly died because of it(ask hans).

This isn’t a normal party…if it was, it could be easily cancelled as it is still several days away. But I’ve been warned in no uncertain terms about unpleasantness that will befall me should it be cancelled. It is out of my hands, if it was ever there in the first place. It sorta skipped me, and started at the progenitor of the idea straight into a socially controlled and guided zeitgeist.
