rhetoric

the more we talk about rhetoric the more I’m reminded of the way that we were supposed to code in computer science. We had to make the code readable, be aware of which system it would be used on, how to adjust per system, how to code effeciently vs. ineffeciently….

I’m thinking there’s a rhetoric of computer programming that would help us understand the rhetoric of language in a more metaphorical and easily understandable way.

Because computer programming is PRE- rhetorical situation, while rhetoric of language seems to largely be POST rhetorical situation.
