when you’re looking for an old paper that apparently has forever left this earth. I needed one for some quotes and such on the hospitality rites in ancient greece, from one of the books that is in the BSU library. APPARENTLY the library is closed. Until September. This means that I’ll be taking an incomplete on the class I need it for.
Oh well. If all works as planned, that paper will be 3/4ths written by the time I need it. Another paper is almost complete, it just needs a rewrite and an update on some quotes…the focus on the struggle with the shadow in Legend of the Fall. The third paper is going to be on fairy tales and I just need to sit down and write that one. Probably on Sunday. The fourth, and final, paper that needs to be done is on my reactions to Dr. James “I’m a loony” Hillman’s books for the post jungian psych class.
So anyway. When I was looking through all my old comp files, I found this beauty, updated for your reading pleasure.
It’s from a freshman honors class here at BSU, back roundabouts 6 years ago. Dr. Siems was one of the teachers, and if he ever checks he may remember this essay/review. Our assignment for that class was to write a book review for a fake magazine on time and its aspects. I thought that this was a bullshit assignment for a college course, so I took the book I found to be the best for the subject, and wrote a review of it in regards to it’s timeliness…haha, I just made that pun. Apologies.
So there you have it, the amazing things you find while delving through old computer files.
