just one stretch of nights left, from August 4th through the 7th.

there was a chance of going to Ozzfest…but I don’t think that’ll happen.

ok, so now I’ve had the beef stew at Brigid’s, and I’ve gotta say….it is indeed Beefy. There’s more beef than vegetables in it, and that is very good.

And the guiness is good.

unfortunately, that money being attracted seems always to be loans…

well, I’ve looked at my financial aid situation, and have filled out the prerequisite forms. Now I just have to send them in, and the total for the year in loans will be $32,000, but it’ll probably be upped to $34,000. Just to make sure that I’ll be able to cover BSU’s misc. fees that they attach to everything.

that will put my total up to a grand sum of $108,000 as soon as this coming year is done with.

by then, God willing, I’ll have a job somewhere and won’t need to take out private loans for the following year of classes and thesis work. of course, that’ll still put me up somewheres around $140~150,000 by the end of it.

but I’ll be a doctor…

beltrami humane society is in need o’ volunteers to serve animals.

but not on platters, more’s the pity.

serving the animals includes such things like people “to walk and play with dogs, play with cats, groom and bathe pets, help haul pop cans for recycling, assist with fund-raising, do repairs and maintenance, take digital pictures of shelter animals, help with brochure design, and do other tasks.”

and this humane society has a “no-kill” policy, unlike PETA.

I’ve now been listening to VH1 for a half-hour(which feels like 2 hours), and I’ve come to the conclusion that the music stations don’t play more music nowadays because the music sucks.

Now I’ve got to write up a grant for that, I’m thinking 1.5 million dollars ought be enough for me to study the three main music channels for a year, and make comparisons between good songs and bad.

and it’ll be totally subjective. Objectivity is for sciencers. and seriously, this music sucks.
