I have devided that due to inebriation caused by Msrs Red Stripe and Killians, no harry potter will be acquired by me this evening.

wow.

I wish more of us people with politico-relgious ideas would read pages 359-403 in the Essential Jung dealing with the individual and self knowledge in the modern days.

it’s really quite the good read.

drug use in EU Parliament

cocaine was found in 41 out of 46 samples taken around the Parliament.

well, I can’t say that I really blame them. If I had to put up with the dastardly french, I’d want to be high on the crack cocaine too.

so harry potter walks into a bar

no, I got nothing for that joke. Anyway, apparently the new harry potter book comes out.

I’ve got $10 riding on the fact that ye olde “half blood prince” of the title is hagrid. He’s the only half blood that I can think of in the books(he’s half blood giant, and if good ol’ dumbledore wants to get the giants on their side, I can’t think of a better plot device than making hagrid the prince…not even hagrid’s brother will do, as he’s full blood giant), seeing as how Harry Potter was full blood magicer, and Voldemort was technically no-blood magicer, and even though voldemort took harry’s blood to come back to life, that doesn’t make him half blood, it’s more like 23.3% blood. And besides, the only reason Voldemort did that was because then he could touch harry potter without being zizzapped again back into the whirlwind tour of the ghostly world that is death.

and I’m going to be part of a group reading it aloud together, but man…the temptation is there to go out and buy the book tonight at midnight…and read it through by tomorrow night.

but that’d be mean. so I will fight the temptation…for now.
