apparently religion and politics ought not be discussed in polite societies.
but you can’t have a good party at froyd’s house unless those two are discussed. might as well toss philosophy on that list too. So is a froyd party non-polite? Probably.
So, in order to have a good Froyd© certified party, you need to discuss one or more of the following three things:
1. Religion
2. Philosophy
3. Politics
The key to throwing a good party is to discuss those things BEFORE the alcohol starts flowing copiously, say, like over a pizza ordered for the party. Then it is a good time, and people are more…reasonable. Then the rest of the night is free to bullshit, harangue, yell at, what have you while playing video games/board games/drinking games. You already know where they stand because of the aforementioned discussion(s), and you need not worry about a social faux pas.
Froyd© certified parties: The way milly the cat likes ‘em.
party friday night, work saturday.
another 8.5 hours at a place I despise.
such is life. everything changes, everything stays the same.
and what’s sad is that sums up my life pretty well in one pithy statement.
