cleaning part 1:

kitchen completely cleaned! Except for mopping, but I don’t have any juice left in my swiffer, so I’ve gotta get me some before that.

after kumdo, the task is to finish washing and putting away clothes.

and tomorrow: the living room, and my room!

man, I’m a cleaning dervish.

no mo’ volleyball

first off: any volleyball games set in wilton are going to be bush league.
second off: no amount of free beer will make hanging out there worth it.
third off: if you expect your volleyball team to respect you as a leader, don’t be a bitch and talk about them behind their backs.
fourth off: just because you’re the ‘leader’ doesn’t mean you get your way when it is bad for the team.
fifth off: if you’re not going to at least TRY, don’t get on the field.

also, the team had like 6 or 7 substitutes, so last week I got a grand total of maybe 10 minutes of playtime over three games.

funk dat.

de stars, boss, de stars!!

were out in full force tonight. Even with the trailer park lights lit up, the stars were still up there, able to be seen with the naked(albeit a bit drunk) eye.

This whole business of ‘light pollution’ that people complain about cities for….I say bah. Light pollution just makes those who want to see the stars work a little harder, and appreciate more, the infinite shiny-tude of the whirling balls of gas.

those who complain obviously don’t want to put the effort in for the reward.

and yes, stars are a pretty f’ing huge reward.

Thursday Horoscope

from the star tribune:

Career gains may be coming in a steady climb, but romance explodes into your life. Love is found while pursuing interest that are off the beaten track. (Then again, what interests do you have that are ON the beaten path?)

oh ho! well played horoscope, touche! Zing!

lyrics from a recently bought song

step back non-believers,
or the rain will never come.
someone keep that fire a-burning
somebody beat the drum

some may think I’m crazy
for makin’ all these claims
but I swear before this day is over
you folks are gonna see some rain
