I will no longer be a head…I’m sorry, MANAGING editor for the book.

I made my decision today, and I would like to apologize publicly about misleading statements that I have made on this blog and in the preface to the book last year.

Apparently the book is about more than just offering a space for men’s writing, it’s also about adding balance to BSU’s publishing opportunities. Which when you notice the implied statement there, it is to offer a counterpoint to Dust and Fire.

That is something that I was told was never the reason for fire ring…I was recently disabused of this notion at a somewhat somber and non-celebratory closing meeting today.

starting as of last thursday, as the week where nothing goes right.

one of the books that I ordered last week, much to my complete surprise, IS ENTIRELY IN LATIN.

Now the problem is that I don’t know latin. So, as this is a main book for one of my papers(though the section I need is like 100 words), I’m-a gonna have to learn how to translate but quick. I’m going to spend a day in BSU library learnin’ stuff.

It got me thinking…maybe I could sell MY virginity to the highest bidder!

And then the moralistic part of me thought “That’s despicable. What’s wrong with you? Where did your morals go?”

and then the non-moralistic side thought “yeah, but I owe $15,000 this year RIGHT NOW, and that’s not to mention the next 2 or 3 years. And this girl got 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS.”

and then the moralistic side said “Ok, say you DO sell your virginity to the highest bidder. What are you going to be able to do with $63.78?”

and then both sides of me sighed and said “Damn.”

• pick up roman books from the ‘rents place
• get final presentation on track for teaching writing with technology
• get started on papers for myth
• find out about money situation and pacifica
• start applying for loans for pacifica
• swear loudly and creatively at the top of my lungs
• perhaps swear on the blog as well

yeah, today’s gonna be full of fun.

prime rate PLUS 4%???? jesus. this goddamned degree better pay off.
