the last post, it isn’t very funny.

it just felt like something I had to say.

the government gets more corrupt.
the government begins by taking an ideological stance that is extremist.
the government has not learned any lessons won by our hard working citizens and soldiers.

we are having a massive failing of our social institutions in the last 20 years. Things have steadily gotten worse. We cannot blame any ONE PARTICULAR PERSON, but the entire system. Either side is corrupt.

the protests of the 70’s were largely peaceful. It got them no where. This is a different world we live in now, with leaders who do not respect anything other than the linings in their pockets. With leaders who take the name of my God in vain. With leaders who do not give thought to the rising anger in their own country. With leaders who have gone against one of our greatest hero’s thoughts about staying out of foreign entanglements, George Washington may not have spoke about oil, globalization, what have you, but his thoughts seem to be strangely prescient and fitting.

Our leaders no longer speak with the mandate of heaven, either in the eastern or in the western sense.

what is our responsibility as citizens, both of our country and of the world? We must teach them humility. We must teach them that the home country is the most important.

Perhaps it is time for a re-imagining of the democratic process into something that will benefit more people.

Ezekiel was called to witness against the corrupted government of Israel. This is also strangely akin to what is happening today.

Babylon was the sword against Israel. What shall ours be? Or as this country is democratic in nature(if not in practice), shall we be our own sword?

I feel motivated today, and I don’t know why. It feels kind of good. I’m going to get stuff done! Man, I’m going to do a bunch of summaries for contemp writers and theory, catch up in writing with tech, and get a presentation planned for web design!
