I’ll be honest….

rather than working on the paper for Contemporary Writing and Theory I played Prince of Persia on the Xbox.

that is, without a doubt, one of the most aggravating crappy games I’ve ever played.

There’s no chance in hell that I’m going to be playing the second one.

Good thing that one was only $10.

Holy War, Batman!

yes, it appears there is going to be a Holy War on campus sooner rather than later.

At first I thought the holy war would start because they put the Phoenix offices right next to the X-Tian offices, but they were surprisingly concilliatory.

But now, NOW, the suzanites have come. They seem to be motivating pret’ much everyone else on campus(even the other christians) to disagree with them and their tactics.

I mean, Dann Siems made one of the cry today! As an aside: Good job, buddy. You picked on someone half your age and made them cry. I hope you’re ashamed of yourself.

Which side am I on, one may ask? Whichever side hands out the swords first! I know that one of the journalists(HA!) from the Northern Student is making ‘I disagree with Suzanne’ pins. Nice thing about what the X-tians have done on campus is that rather than facilitate dialogue and discussion, they’ve galvanized the entire campus into sides. Now they know why advertisers stay away from campaigns like the ones that they pulled. They don’t work, and they piss people off because they feel like they’re being led on and lied to.

Me? It depends on which side each takes. I may disagree with the message, but if the anti-suzanites start yelling about how they shouldn’t be ALLOWED to say anything, or advertise the way they did, then I’m going to have to step up to bat for the suzanites. Freedom of speech, even if some people don’t like what is being said.

And it’s not like the suzanites are MAKING you listen to them or read their pamphlets, so I really don’t see what the problem or the mass hatred is all about here.
