Class presentation

if I had known how much that a certain teacher on campus loved Jungian psychology, and James Hillman, I would have never brought it up in class today.

holy bejeezus.

Anyway, the presentation on legends of the crap..I mean ‘fall’ went well today, much better than I thought it was going to. thank goodness carl was there to keep tempers riled up and continue the discussion. however I do have one worry when I talk about Jungian analysis and archetypes and that is this: that people actually think I believe in it.

A point to make: just because I know a lot about something and can explain its usages and apply it does NOT mean that I prescribe to it. I am most definitely NOT a jungian and especially not a follower of hillman.

they’re both crackpots, and I’m normal.

Fawlty!

Fawlty Towers hotel sold to a couple who own several bristol businesses.

Apparently there was a plan put forth to the city where the hotel is located to knock the hotel to make way for 25 luxury suites…but like the good British folk they are, they said essentially ‘funk dat’, and didn’t let it pass.

Too bad that no U.S. city would do that.
