Jacob’s Room Part Deux:

some questions that might bear closer scrutiny:

If it was a book about how war affected people, and apparently ‘political’, why is there no mention of the buildup to war, and in fact the only thing mentioned EXTREMELY politcal being Home Rule?

And why was Home Rule for Ireland Brought up three times in chapter 8,10 and 11(I think those were the chapters) in close conjunction with Jacob’s female companionship issues?

Is the room of the title really a physical entity, as in a room? Or is the entire book about the space that Jacob made in other people’s thoughts, some room taken up by him in their minds, hence the title ‘Jacob’s room’?

Is it necessary to say ‘quote/endquote’ when reading an essay?

Search Engine Scoot : Sigmund Froyd

I’m doing this for every person who showed up at either Froyd.net or this blog by typing the words “sigmund froyd” or “froyd’s theories” or “froyd and the unconcious”

It’s not F-R-O-Y-D that you’re looking for, not until I publish some books. You’re looking for sigmund FREUD, as in F-R-E-U-D. SIGMUND FREUD NOT SIGMUND FROYD.

You’ve made a spelling error, and undoubtedly got absolutely nothing from this site about depth psychology and the ego, the id, the Oedipus complex or any of the other theories that Sigmund Freud(not FROYD!) came up with and were subsequently warped through out the last 100 years.

So, in order that you learn from your mistakes, let’s review: the correct spelling of Sigmund Freud is thus, and it is not, I repeat NOT Sigmund FROYD. SIGMUND FREUD!! FREUD!!!!!!!!

You GOT THAT!?!? Now, type THAT into your search engines, and find what you are really looking for.
