Chalk up another one….

for the tie between worst game endings. I just got done with roughly 24 hours of play on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 The Sith Lords, and yet again, I’m let down by the ending. I pay $50, I expect cinematic endings, not some old hag explaining in 50 words or less what happened to all the people in the game. 1985 and the Apple 2 GS memory problems are 20 years in the past, wake up people.

So let’s see here:
Soul Reaver 1:You fly away into a breach in time to find and stop your enemy.
Halo 2: You fly away into a breach in space to find and stop your enemy.
SW:KOTOR 2: You fly away into the stars to find and stop your enemy.

DOES ANYONE ELSE EXCEPT ME SEE THE GODDAMNED PROBLEM WITH CHARGING $50 FOR DIFFERENT GAMES WITH THE SAME ENDINGS!?!?!?!?!?

Note About Drinks

if you DON’T want to get drunk on white russians, don’t add a pinch of brown sugar to the mix.

*shudder* soooooo tasty.

Cats are immune

to the force.

This is not the lap you are looking for…(with hand wave) does NOT work on them. I think that the cats everywhere may be a danger to all jedi, light or dark.

or should I say, light or DORK?

Maybe. But I’m not ashamed.

Where’re those books?

I looked behind the dancing monkey, and the world lit books aren’t hiding there…the one spot I figured those treacherous books would be!

Social Functions

I’ve decided to change my activity on the social scene. It seems like last year(or at least, most of it) I was very proactive socially. Throwing parties, inviting people to movies, running around, planning and scheduling and getting functions together. Did that help me out much, as far as anything is concerned? Probably not. Took time, energy, and oftentimes money(for those fucking moochers who don’t bring their own beer(happened more often than just Froydstravaganza pt 1)) all of which I don’t really have extra of.

No more.

I’ve decided instead of proactive, I am now going to be reactive. No more planning parties, no more planning outings, no more taking action and getting things together.

Now I’m going to be something that fits in both with my personality and my schedule, and not do anything unless invited along by other people.

Will this new course have me sitting alone in my house playing video games and/or drinking? God I hope so. People stress me out, and if I’m at home more I can get hopefully some of the massive piles of reading and papers done as well. And maybe write some more, something that has taken a back burner in the last 4 months of craziness.

Remember: I’m not anti-social, I just don’t like people.
