The Millennium Express
one of, without a doubt, the funniest and most interesting stories I’ve ever read. set in the year 2999, it deals with what we do to cope with the amount of stuff we’ve piled up celebrating history.
It also has clones of Einstein, Hemingway and Picasso discussing whether or not to EXplode or IMplode the louvre.
If you can find it in a short story collection, I highly recommend reading it.
