Apparently in further talks with Dr. Christensen, things have progressed to the point where I don’t have to take the CLEP test at all, because they decided that the BFA IS an English Degree.
sweeeeeeet. Now we’ll see if it’ll work on Shakespeare and his Age.
Just talked to Susan today, and apparently the administration at this college has now done something FINALLY of which I approve.
Students can now take the CLEP Test to pass out of American Literature 1.
Thus making one less class that I need to take to be fully accepted into BSU’s grad program. Yeah, by the time I’m FULLY accepted(rather than just provisionally accepted), all I’ll have left is the exams and the thesis work.
So I’ll be 90% done with the program by the time they recognize me fully as a Graduate Student. Good to see that they’re up on things. *sigh* oh well.
What’s great is that by the time that I graduate with my MA, on any biographies in the future it’ll look like I got my BFA in 2004, and my MA in 2005.
hells yeah.
