I just received an offer in the mail from our book publisher(potential) that has lowered the price from $775 down to $475.

This makes our job of raising money quite drastically easier.

Anyone got a spare $500 they want to donate to a good cause?

Ok, I don’t know how many people with any pull at the college read this blog, but I’m going to put this out here right now;

The Sci-fi/Fantasy writing club needs cash. Roughly $775 by the end of December for a book our group is going to be putting out. Now, since we’re a bunch of geeks, and one goth(who may be a geek), we all think it would be bad ass to get a masquerade type of thing going maybe the night of October 29th at the college, perhaps using the beaux arts ballroom.

The sci-fi club would be willing to work at the dance, and put up/take down decorations. Perhaps splitting the proceeds with HUBP if they can help us with it?

All righty. I’m an overweight character, who loves food, and loves to play video games. I’m also a bit lazy. So, now, after the Dance Dance Revolution craze has hit, I too have joined the bandwagon. I ordered the game and the dance pads yesterday, they should be here by monday.

It’s sorta like sweatin’ to the oldies, except without the extremely femme guy in front of all the fat older ladies doing the excercises with you.

We’ll see how much this game rocks, cause I’ve been told it rocks. So soon, SOON, perhaps I shall get a sense of rhythm while jamming down with the video games to get rid of my belly.
