Tonight(PARTY)

Tonight(friday night) there is a get together at the Froyd residence. For those of you who know where it is, you’re welcome to show up around 8:30~9:00. For others, feel free to email me, and I’ll let you in on the directions.

It is a bring your own drinks party, as with two grad schools that I’m going to, funds are short for el Froydo. But anyways, feel free to show up for a couple of hours. It won’t go later than 3 AM, I shall guarantee that.

Anyways, feel free to show up and party on down!

Yet again, Bemidji State University is trying…

to make sure that I can’t get a decent education. Just yesterday they told me that I was a ’special case’ and that there was a possibility that I could not borrow a laptop. No biggie, right? Well, the thing is that I need a laptop with dreamweaver on it in order to transfer dreamweaver to mine.

Then they tell me that they won’t sell me a copy for BSU prices and that I’d have to pay roundabouts $100(instead of the $30 they get it for) because they can’t put it on a non-BSU computer. Excuse me? I’ve practically bought the goddamned school with the amount of student loans taken out in the last 5 years, and I think it’s about time that they view me as part owner, instead of just a snot nosed student. Fuckers.

And then…THEN! This morning, the records office called, and let me know that I couldn’t take the TA class as grad credits. Now explain this to me: why the FLYING FUCK would I want to take more undergrad credits as a Graduate student? That makes no sense.

So between being turned down for 4 GA’s, no laptop or dreamweaver, and being told that the grad TA is in fact NOT a grad TA, well.

As usual BSU is doing a bang-up job of making me look forward to my REAL school out in california come September the 26th. I swear to God, that if it wasn’t for the sci-fi&fantasy club I wouldn’t even fucking bother with BSU.
