Ladies Night is a Civil Rights issue

A bill in the New Jersey government is seeking to make sure that Ladies’ night stays around, even though a court ruled that it was against the state’s civil rights laws.

This all started like this

“Earlier this month, the director of the state Division on Civil Rights ruled in favor of a man who said it wasn’t fair for women to get into the Coastline bar and restaurant in Cherry Hill for free and enjoy discounted drinks while men paid $5 and full price for beverages.”

According to the Governor, all of this is termed ‘Bureaucratic Nonsense’

Members are outraged that Ladies’ Night could be taken off, and are fighting to get it protected by law. According to one assembly member: “Dude..ladies’ night is a MUST! How else are we expected to get hot young women to come home with old geezers like us unless they’re drunk? This is not just about us, but about all the unattractive males out there!”
