wow, I’m pretty sleepy. A couple of beers with trivia will do that to you. I’ve decided on the laptop issue. Due to the layovers of 2-3 hours that I’ll be having in various spots on the long bus trips, I’ve decided that I don’t need to use the laptop until then, and at those layover spots, I’ll get a spot next to a plugin. Problem solved and money saved! Whee!
Got third in trivia tonight, behind the monstrosity that is Dave Hanson in 2nd, and Dr. Donovan in 1st. Oh well. There’s always next week.
Had the round table discussion by the grad students today. Good God almighty. I thought mine was ok, but when you are trying to lead a discussion, DO NOT READ STRAIGHT OUT OF YOUR PAPERS. They are more a guideline in speaking, not a law to follow everything written.
Other than the others doing that, it wasn’t a bad time.
