overall though, I’m enjoying this grad thing. I’ve decided that the secondary language they want me to learn, since it is my choice, should be old english. It’ll help in the mythological studies program I want to get into. And I hate spanish.

but I talked to Dr. Evans today(the only one who speaks/reads it), and she said a few years back another student had wanted to do that but the dept. wouldn’t let them. Here’s the deal: that other student wasn’t me, I’ll fight a great deal harder for it, and if they’re going to fuck me over for GA positions, the least they can do is let me learn the other languages I want.

Now, this game is what I’ll be doing when I rule the world…I’ll just rig up some satellite operated magnifying glass or something.
