Yeah, summer classes ain’t gonna be so bad. Sci-Fi fantasy writing is going to be coo’ as long as people can avoid cliches, or at least make them cliched enough so they can play with them.

Tolkien, well that’s another story. I think once we get past beowulf and into the lord of the rings, then more people will want to speak up. ’s supposed to be seminar style class, but with some of those people in the class, it’s going to be tough to keep them talkin’.

that’s why the grad students are going to go apeshit and MAKE them talk. wooo! of course, I’m a little worried about the other grad students in that class. *sigh*

it’ll be coo’ though.

came in second at trivia last night, neither donovan nor mcmanus were there, and I got my ass kicked by mamluk(aka stalin from stats). it was very sad. but I got two free drinks, and that’s what counts.

anyway, time to get ready for class. I’m really enjoying biking to class. It’s been something like 10 years since I’ve biked ANYWHERE for any extended period of time. I’m finding out that I’ve really missed it. It makes me happy.
