And here’s what it is: FUCK BSU. If they don’t know what they’re missing out by not giving me a freakin’ GA, well fuck them. This goes for Ireland too….fuck them as well.

I’ll take a couple of grad classes this summer, just so I’ll have them under my belt, but next fall…well, I’m relatively certain I won’t be taking any classes at all. Instead, y’know…I’ll fucking travel. All over the country. I’ll fill out a bunch of applications for entrance into MFA programs this summer, possibly for spring entrances, and then for August, and probably September, I’ll be out and about the nation.

I’ll come home, and I’ll work for a couple more months. No big loss whatsoever. And hell, if need be, I’ll just go back to class at BSU after I hear back from all the programs I’ll apply to. Not a big loss at all.

So, student loans will be due…I’ll make it somehow. I’ll pay them on a monthly basis, and when it comes down to it, I’ll apply for deferrment if I get into any MFA programs.

I’ve got a good paying job, and I can fucking afford to spend some time out of school. My life doesn’t have to revolve around school, this is what I’ve realized right now. So what if for the last 18 of my 23 years of life I’ve spent in school? Time to get out for a bit is what I say.

It’s not like going to BSU for the MA in english will help my future goals of writing and teaching a whole lot…time to experience life as they say. Even if its life in Bemidji.
