So the laptop I have started making buzzing noises, and the hard drive started going on it about 2-3 months ago. I have put up with it until now, and it has finally gotten to the point where I’ll pay gateway to fix it.

So I call them up today. They run my serial number, and lo and behold…its still covered until the end of May under a 3 year parts and labor warranty. woo-freakin’-hoo baby!

They’re like, “we’ll send you a box, mr. cool sean froyd, and you can send your comp and within a week of receiving it, we’ll have it back to you…is that all right oh glorious one?”

and I’m all like “yeah.”

and they’re all like “can we replace/fix the hard drive if we find any problems with it, o great and powerful Froyd?”

and I’m all like “yeah.”

and the we were both like “catch you on the flip side.”

yeah. Woohoo for free fixin’s! This ALMOST makes up for gateway screwing me out of $200 on batteries a year ago.

there was a rant about nice girls/bad guys and how nice guys were left in the lurch.

You may have thought that I was alone in thinking this, but thank goodness advice columns are noticing the problem too.

Ok, so apparently Gays and Lesbians have been marginalized in our society, and today is the Day of Silence where they and their allies can show us how they’ve been silenced.

Good. One day out of the year I don’t have to put up with somebody bitching. Now, how about we get the muslims, jews, christians, pagans, minorities, hmmm…oh yeah, and old women gossips to SHUT THE HELL UP today too!

Or would that just marginalize the gays and lesbians more? Ah hell with ‘em, they can’t complain about it today anyways. Oh yeah, I went there.

San Francisco Appeals Court Refuses to send Skeleton Case to review.

Turns out that the American Indians can’t claim the remains of a 9000 year old person as a direct ancestor, and the skeleton can go on to scientific study. The Kennewick Man, according to this article, “has drawn scientific interest because it is one of the oldest, most complete skeletons found in North America, with characteristics unlike modern Indians.”

Wow. Does this mean that they can get off their f-ing high horse about being native americans now? Seriously…maybe THEY wiped the people like the kennewick man off the face of the continent. That would make them just as bad as the caucasians who came here.
