Night shift breakdown

As you can tell, the moods of the Froyd change drastically over the small stretch of four night shifts. A breakdown, for you, because I am bored, and I have about an hour left.

Tuesday Nights-Wednesday mornings: Awake, and relatively cognizant of surroundings. Active and happy on the internet, and with perhaps some homework to do, the blog recognizes this. Many posts on wednesday mornings after a productive night surfin’ the net.

Wednesdasy Nights-Thursday mornings: Somewhat awake, but really pissed off. Usually this is the worst night shift to have, with the knowlege of 2 more full nights, and busy days of classes yet to make it through. Usually depression sets in with some anger on the side.

Thursday Nights-Friday mornings by now, the tiredness has completely fried my brain. oftentimes posts on these days make no sense, and have little to do with reality, but occasionally, as was the case this week, something comes through that makes sense.

Friday nights-saturday mornings Fridays are good sleeping days, and work isn’t so bad because you’ll be out and free for another week. Good freakin’ times.

There you have it. Sometime this summer, when I start working the 6 in a row, I’ll be able to more fully break down the denegration of one’s mind over night shifts.

yesterday and today

Yesterday, well, yesterday was interesting. Our Creative Non-Fiction class got a lecture about how the teacher didn’t want us to be slacking off so much, and how she expected 9 pages of writing per week. At first we all rebelled, and then JP said to me “Y’know, this is what we all need, a teacher who will actually REQUIRE us to work”

He was right. I can’t speak for other people, but I was slacking, and I was using the teacher’s class to slack in. It wasn’t fair to the teacher at all, nor was it fair to my classmates who had small group with me. I’ve apologized to the teacher, and now I apologize to my classmates: I’m sorry, it was rude of me not to motivate myself more so that your time wasn’t wasted.

Then we had blog/wiki class, and it was all right. About that time my mind was starting to fade in and out of reality. I got home from that, briefly looked at an electric guitar that one of my buddies had to sell, made him an offer and went to sleep. I woke up about 6:15 PM, was invited to go to supper with Kamran and a bevy of females. I had to decline. I was way too tired and needed the sleep. So I went back to sleep at 7:15, and awoke and went to work.

That was yesterday. Today’s going to be cool. There’s this indoor rummage sale that the Bemidji Pioneer is putting on, and Natasha, JP and I are going to there selling wares. We’re there raising money for the Fire Ring Voices anthology. So, if you’re motivated to, show up and buy some stuff. Gonna be good times, since both Natasha and I are going to low on sleep, and po’ JP will be bearing the brunt of that.

And then sleep, blessed sleep.

Oh yeah, no more night shifts after tonight for a month and a half! WHEEEEEEEEE!!! I’m very pleased.

AT Josh is a bastard

This indicates why I switched from Comp Sci to English because of math, and why AT Josh is a bastard.

And seriously, I don’t have enough to do, especially on night shifts, so I go about things the long way. Oh yeah, and my name’s spelled ‘Sean’ not shawn. Sucka.

And I’ve never EVER pretended my pillow was a goblin….gremlin, maybe. Goblin, no.

I do like the MegaMoods though…they ARE totally sweet.
